Our primary goal as a PTA is to enrich the education of each child by providing resources and opportunities that would not otherwise be possible.
On Average, our PTA contributes $10,000 each year for field trips, assemblies, curriculum programs, and teacher grants. This money comes directly from the 100% fundraiser & the Spring Jogathon.
Andrus Elementary PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Financial contributions to the Andrus Elementary PTA are tax-deductible for federal and local tax purposes. Each year, we fund:

Teacher supply purchases
Subscriptions to classroom materials such as magazines and online learning subscriptions
Teachers make requests via our request form. These requests are reviewed on a monthly basis at PTA meetings. The PTA also funds larger projects that benefit the entire school. Past examples include playground equipment, school assemblies, water bottle filling stations, the Meet the Masters Art Program, and the book vending machine.
